How screening works
A focused process. Minimal disruption.
A single screening day. Lasting intelligence.
From the first conversation to the workforce report, every step is designed around one principle: your team's time is protected and their results are their own.
Alex personally leads every screening. For larger teams, a small group of hand-picked registered nurses ensures the same clinical standard throughout.
What actually happens on the day?
A working day, uninterrupted
The Praxis team arrives before the working day begins and sets up discreetly on site, typically in a private meeting room. The process is designed to run quietly alongside the normal flow of the business, with minimal disruption to the wider team. Employees are seen individually, by appointment. Every employee returns to their desk immediately afterwards.

For teams of up to 15, I conduct every appointment personally. Larger screening days are supported by a second registered nurse where appropriate, depending on appointment length and cohort size. The aim is to keep the process efficient and minimally disruptive, while maintaining the same clinical standard, consistency, and follow-up throughout. There are no waiting rooms. No one compares notes in a corridor. No one knows what anyone else was asked or told.
"It ran like a meeting schedule, not a medical day."
- Founder, scaling tech business (25 employees).
What do your employees actually experience?
A private consultation, not a conveyor-belt screening
Each employee sits down with a registered nurse for a private consultation. I work through every clinical check, explaining what it measures and what the result means as we go.
Depending on the tier, this includes cardiovascular screening, metabolic markers, validated mental health screening using PHQ-9 and GAD-7, and a structured assessment of workload, stress, and recovery.
Results are explained in the room. A written personal summary follows within 48 hours. Where a result warrants onward referral, that is handled the same day.
"It went down incredibly well with our team. It didn’t feel like a box-ticking exercise. It felt like we were genuinely investing in people."
- Co-founder, 18 – person design agency.

What follows
From screening to strategy
Leadership receives a Workforce Health and Risk Intelligence Report that clarifies team risks, recovery capacity, and performance signals.
I review this with leadership directly. Together we identify exactly where to intervene for the best results.
Not every finding requires action. In many cases, the data simply confirms that a team is functioning well, with strong resilience and low underlying risk. Where support or intervention may be beneficial, it is identified clearly and proportionately.
The pressures affecting performance rarely appear all at once. More often, they build gradually beneath the surface. Praxis provides earlier visibility before those pressures begin impacting the business.
"It gave us clarity we didn’t realise we were missing."
- Founder, London-based SME
